Investigation number one, What is Competence for students?
بعد از خواندن این پکیج و اصول و روند شیوه های آموزش زبان انگلیسی به این نتیجه رسیدم که علت اصلی اینکه بسیاری از افراد (حتی دانشجویان) رضایت خاطر از سطح زبانشان ندارند ،فقط و فقط در شیوه آموزش نادرست آن هاست ولی بعد از تحقیق فهمیدم که نه تنها آموزشگاه های معروف بلکه کلیه آموزشگاه ها همگی از روش Direct Method بر اساس تجربیات واقعی دانش آموز استفاده می کنند . سوالی که برام پیش آمد این بود که چرا عده ای پس از مدت زمان بسیار کوتاه به سطح بسیار عالی از زبان انگلیسی می رسند و چرا جمع بسیاری پس از سال ها تلاش به حد مطلوب خود هم نمی رسند!
توانش زبانی را بنده به 3 بخش عمده تقسیم کردم و مطالعاتم را بر روی کسانی که دارای تافل بالای 80 وکسانی که در سطح Advance آموزشگاه ها بودند و کسانی که در سطح High intermediate آموزشگاه ها بودند انجام داده ام . لازم به ذکر است که سوالاتم را از سوالات خیلی ابتدایی شروع کردم و به سوالات خیلی پیشرفته اتمام دادم.
سه بخش عمده توانش زبانی عبارت اند از نحوه ی صحبت کردن صحبت کردن در زمینه خاص توانش درک سخن
بخش اول نحوه صحبت کردن:
از سه نفر در سطح زبانی که در بالا ذکر کردم سوال ساده ی زیر را پرسیدم :
So, What time did you get up this morning ?
Ahmad(High intermediate level) : I wake up at nine o’clock.
Sara(Advance level) : I opened my eyes to the world at nine o’clock.
Ali(TOEFL ibt 89):Well actually to be honest, if the truth be told I opened my eyes to the world at nine o’clock. That would be all.
حلیل جواب:
با وجود اینکه هر سه آن ها تقریبا در یک بازه زمانی از خواب بیدار شدند ولی پاسخ نفر دوم از نفر اول بهتر بود و زیبا ترین پاسخ متعلق به نفر سوم بود. اصل همه ی جواب ها ساعت 9 بود ولیکن نفر سوم قبل از شروع از کلیشه های زیبای زیر استفاده کرده است
Well actually to be honest خوب اگه بخوام صادق باشم
If the truth be told خوب اگه حقیقت امر واقع بشه
و در پایان جواب خود را با عبارت زیبای That would be all به پایان رساند
بخش دوم صحبت کردن در زمینه خاص
ازافراد دیگری در همین سطح زبانی سوال های زیر را پرسیدم که به ترتیب جواب های زیر را دادند

_ to be honest with you I would say even there seems to be voluminous evidence that mother smoking will stunt the baby growth. Last night I watched a conference In based on that and the gist of the report was that smoking will have a Deleterious effect on health……
تحلیل جواب:
نفر اول در هر دو سوال اطلاعاتی را نداشت و حتی این مهرت را هنوز کسب نکرده بود که با عباراتی مانند Sorry, I’m not in the mood از زیر جواب دادن شانه خالی کند . نفر دوم هم جواب هایی کلی و عمومی مطابق با نظرو ایده اش ارایه داد و نفر سوم ، کلمات و جملاتی را در همان زمینه خاص به کار برد. در واقع در زمینه ای که از او سوال پرسیدم لغات آکادمیک را به کار برد. جواب او نشان دهنده این است که مطالعاتی را در زمینه های مختلف زبان داشته است.
بخش سوم توانش درک سخن
2سوال پیچیده زیر را از سه نفر در سطح هایی که در بالا ذکر کردم پرسیدم

_ Ahhhh ….. Mmmmm……. !!!!!!!!
_ what did you say? I didn’t get that.
_ I know what you mean but the in the dark side in darn world there must be some people like this and the other of that ilk.
تحلیل این دو سوال بسیار بسیار جالب است . در این سوال نفر سوم فقط از روی کلمات Dictator به معنای دیکتاتور و Suggest به معنای پیشنهاد دادن و Opinions به معنای عقاید و Expressed به معنای بیان شود ، پی به وجود فضای خفقان و تاریک و سیاسی موجود برده و بعد نظر خود را اعلام می دارد. هر چند معنای واقعی عبارت در زیر پیوست شده است :
دیکتاتور پر قدرت تمام فصاحت خود را برای تهمت زدن به کسانی به کار گرفت که بقدری گستاخ بودند که گفتند اختلاف عقاید باید بیان شود.

_ Ahhhh ….. Mmmmm……. !!!!!!!! _ Sorry what ?!!!!!!!!

تحلیل جواب این است که به دلیل آنکه بنده به عنوان Interviewer سوال را با سرعت بسیار بالایی و با لهجه آمریکایی پرسیدم ، تقریبا هیچ کدام از آن ها متوجه منظور من نشدند ولی اگر کسی زبان انگلیسی را واقعا کاربردی مطالعه کرده باشد می داند که جواب DO you الزاما Yes, I do یا که No, I don’t می باشد و لااقل برای جواب دادن در حد یکی دو کلمه مشکلی ندارد
Conclude
_ باید شاگردان را ترغیب به این کرد که لغات و عبارات و کلمات را در بیش تر زمینه های خاص مطالعه کنند یعنی بتوانند لااقل در زمینه های سیاست ، روان شناسی ، جامعه شناسی ، زمینه های کلی پزشکی و غیره صحبت کنند.
_ زبان انگلیسی کلید علم و دانش و بیزنس و دنیای ارتباطات است ، لذا آموزش بر اساس جدید ترین متد وشیوه های آموزش حایز اهمیت است . جدیدترین متد آموطش زبان بر این باور است که ِیادگیری زبان باید بدون دغدغه و استرس و در شرایط واقعی صورت گیرد ، اگر قرار است درسی راجب طبیعت خوانده شود بد نیست که معلم و شاگردانش همگی به طبیعت بروند .
_ تکرار پدیده ای است که اثرات بدی رادارد و انرژی زیادی را از شخص می گیرد ، این را بنده نمی گویم بلکه یکی از روانشناسان معروف می گوید . متاسفانه در بیش تر موسسات آموزش زبان انگلیسی Repetition حرف اول را می زند .دانش آموزان عادت کرده اند که فقط در جواب how are you ? پاسخ I’m fine thank you را به کار بررند و در مقابل عبارت how you doon? جوابی را ندارند ، هر چند که هر دوی آن ها به یک معنا هستند.
_به نظر من اینکه هر کتاب را به 4 قسمت تقسیم می کنند تا معلم به دانش آموز بیش تر GRammer وidiom و غیره یاد دهد ، بهانه ایست فقط و فقط برای کسب درآمد بیش تر. در آموزش زبان هر چه که روند آموزش فشرده تر و سریع تر باشد ، بازدهی بالا تر است به علاوه که دانش جو بعد از مدت کوتاهی که صرف کرد وقت و انرژی این را دارد که مطالعات تکمیلی را در زمینه های مورد نیازش انجام دهد نه اینکه تازه بعد از 3 سال هر روز آموزشگاه رفتن در نهایت فقط و فقط 4 جلد کتاب را خوانده باشد که 50% هر کدام تصویر و عکس بوده است.
_ اگر سعی در این شود که مهارت های عمده که عبارت اند از Listening *Writing*Speaking*Reading
را به صورت جداجدا مورد بررسی و پیشرفت قرار داد ، سرعت آموزش بالا تر رفته و ضمن اینکه بازدهی نیز بالا می رود بدین منظور که مثلا برای کسب مهارت در Listening از کتب Tactics for listening استفاده کرد .
_ اخلاق یک دبیر ، میزان انعطاف پذیری و رفتار او ، از جمله عوامل مهم یادگیری در آموزش زبان انگلیسی است . همه مشتاق به صحبت کردن دبیر در زمینه های روز و جوان پسند هستند مانند Dating و غیره .
_ شرایط واقعی بسیار مهم است ، اینکه در کتاب ها صحبت در باره jack صحبت شده فقط می تواند یک الگو باشد . اینکه دوست شاگرد من کیه ، یا شخصی که شاگرد من است دیشب کجا و با کی بوده است بسیار مهم است و حایز اهمیت.
Investigation number two, Do you want to learn English?
تحقیق بنده راجب به میل و رغبت به یادگیری دانشجویان بوده است . بدین منظور نیز از کمک چند تن از دوستانم که در پژوهشکده آموزش زبان دانشگاه آزاد نجف آباد بوده اند نیز کمک گرفتم و از نزدیک و به صورت مستقیم با کسانی که برای تعیین سطح آمده بودند نیز مصاحبه کردم.
در نظر سنجی که بنده انجام دادم به این نتیجه رسیدم که آرزوی همه ی آن ها صحبت کردن روان انگلیسی و پیشرفت در آن است و حتی موقع صحبت کردن بنده خیلی از آن ها در تعجب بودند .
یکی از آن ها که اسم او شادی بود حرف جالبی زد و گفت من هیچ وقت جرات ندارم که به آموزشگاه های زبان برای تعیین سطح بروم چون که من با دختر بچه 10 ساله در یک ترم می افتیم .
یکی دیگر از آن ها می گفت که من باید حدود 10 ساله دیگه زبان بخوانم تا بتونم تافلمو بگیرم !!!!!!
دیگری می گفت من اگر IELTS زیر 5/8 بگیرم خودمو می کشم !!!!!!!!
این مصاحبه خیلی خیلی برای من که یک معلم تازه کار در زبان انگلیسی هستم سودمند بود چه بسا که با روانشناسی انواع افرادی که قرار است در آینده شاگردان من بشوند ، آشنا شدم.
در کل به به این نتیجه رسیدم که همه ی افراد با هر سنی واقعا عاشق یادگیری زبان انگلیسی هستند و حتی اگر بدانند این امکان مطابق با بهترین روش های آموزش زبان وجود دارد که آن را سریع و تضمینی یادبگیرند ، رغبت و علاقه آن ها چندین برابر می گردد.
How to Learn English Faster
Learning a new language can be difficult, but it’s not impossible. Learning any language can be broken up into four pieces: reading, writing, listening and speaking. If you want to learn English faster, get started from these points
Read, read, read. One of the easiest things you can do to learn English faster is to read as much as you can. Read things all the time. This will make your vocabulary better and it will also help you learn grammar and slang.
- Read comics. An easy option, if you don’t want to read children’s books, is to read comic books or comics instead. You can buy many English language comic books in bookstores and online, or you can read free comics online (these are usually called web comics)
- Read books you’ve read before. You can also read a book you have read before. If you already know a little bit about what happens, then you will have an easier time guessing and understanding the words.
- Read the newspaper. Newspapers are a good way to learn the basics of a language, because they usually have very good grammar and are written to be easy to understand. You can find online versions of many good English language newspapers, like the New York Times or The Guardian.
Watch movies. Watching movies will also help you improve your English, by helping you to hear what it sounds like and also helping you to learn new words. You can start watching with subtitles on, but you will learn more with the subtitles off. Once you have a basic vocabulary, try to keep the subtitles off and focus on listening for the words you do know and guessing the words you don’t know from what is happening on the screen.
Make a friend. You can also just make friends with English language speakers online and chat, email, and Skype together in order to practice your English. You can find online friends by joining fan communities or through language-learning communities like Fluently.
Sing songs. Learning and singing songs is another good way to make your English better. This will help you learn the sounds of English (rhymes will help your pronunciation). It will also help improve your vocabulary. Find a song you like, learn it, and learn what the lyrics mean.
Take a course. English courses will help you learn the most important words and grammar and can help you make sure you’re learning everything correctly. There are two main ways to take English language courses:
- Take an online course. You can take courses online. Some of these cost money and some are free. The ones that cost money may be better than the free ones but not all the time! Good examples of online programs are Live Mocha and Duo lingo.
- Take a course in school. You can take a class from a local college or English language school. These cost money, but the help from the teacher will be very important and will help you learn faster than trying to learn on your own.
Travel to an English-speaking nation. Traveling to a place where everyone speaks English will help you learn a lot faster. Take a temporary job or a study abroad course in an English-speaking country. You can also take shorter trips, but immersing yourself in the language for at least 3 months will help the most .

How To Learn English!
_Speak without Fear
The biggest problem most people face in learning a new language is their own fear. They worry that they won’t say things correctly or that they will look stupid so they don’t talk at all. Don’t do this. The fastest way to learn anything is to do it – again and again until you get it right. Like anything, learning English requires practice. Don’t let a little fear stop you from getting what you want.
_Use all of your Resources
Even if you study English at a language school it doesn’t mean you can’t learn outside of class. Using as many different sources, methods and tools as possible, will allow you to learn faster. There are many different ways you can improve your English, so don’t limit yourself to only one or two. The internet is a fantastic resource for virtually anything, but for the language learner it’s perfect.
_Surround Yourself with English
The absolute best way to learn English is to surround yourself with it. Take notes in English, put English books around your room, listen to English language radio broadcasts, watch English news, movies and television. Speak English with your friends whenever you can. The more English material that you have around you, the faster you will learn and the more likely it is that you will begin “thinking in English.” .
_Listen to Native Speakers as Much as Possible
There are some good English teachers that have had to learn English as a second language before they could teach it. However, there are several reasons why many of the best schools prefer to hire native English speakers. One of the reasons is that native speakers have a natural flow to their speech that students of English should try to imitate. The closer ESL / EFL students can get to this rhythm or flow, the more convincing and comfortable they will become.
_Watch English Films and Television
This is not only a fun way to learn but it is also very effective. By watching English films (especially those with English subtitles) you can expand your vocabulary and hear the
flow of speech from the actors. If you listen to the news you can also hear different accents.
_Listen to English Music
Music can be a very effective method of learning English. In fact, it is often used as a way of improving comprehension. The best way to learn though, is to get the lyrics (words) to the songs you are listening to and try to read them as the artist sings. There are several good internet sites where one can find the words for most songs. This way you can practice your listening and reading at the same time. And if you like to sing, fine.
_Study As Often As Possible!
Only by studying things like grammar and vocabulary and doing exercises, can you really improve your knowledge of any language.
_Do Exercises and Take Tests
Many people think that exercises and tests aren’t much fun. However, by completing exercises and taking tests you can really improve your English. One of the best reasons for doing lots of exercises and tests is that they give you a benchmark to compare your future results with. Often, it is by comparing your score on a test you took yesterday with one you took a month or six months ago that you realize just how much you have learned. If you never test yourself, you will never know how much you are progressing. Start now by doing some of the many exercises and tests on this site, and return in a few days to see what you’ve learned. Keep doing this and you really will make some progress with English.
_Record Yourself
Nobody likes to hear their own voice on tape but like tests, it is good to compare your tapes from time to time. You may be so impressed with the progress you are making that you may not mind the sound of your voice as much.
_Listen to English
By this, we mean, speak on the phone or listen to radio broadcasts, audiobooks or CDs in English. This is different than watching the television or films because you can’t see the person
